NAHU’s 2009-2010 Regional VP Candidates
My Vision
I am involved in the health care industry and NAHU because this is my chosen
career and I intend to work in this industry until I retire. The coming months will
prove to be critical in our association’s future and our members’ ability to thrive
during this time of change. One of NAHU’s primary concerns should be identifying new opportunities for our members during the approaching debates regarding
our industry. With all change come new opportunities. NAHU needs to be a driving force in the direction of that change, and in that process identifying for our
members the associated opportunities.
Over the past two years, I have listened to our members and have done my best
to meet their needs. I believe I have more to contribute to the association and its
members; therefore I am seeking a second term as the Region 5 vice president.
Even with the discussions expected on Capitol Hill, and within our state capitals, I
continue to believe that our industry has a bright and viable future. This is why I
continue to focus my agency on growth and believe that NAHU will ensure our
voice continues to be heard on all health care reform issues.
Our association and its members must be prepared for change and I am confident that NAHU will continue to meet these changes head on, represent the best
interest of our members for many years to come and grow our Association for future success. With your support and guidance, I will continue to work hard to ensure that our members get value for their dues dollars every day and to represent
every member, in every local and state chapter within Region 5.

Our voices must be
heard across America,
especially with our
political leaders.
MMyvisioVn foir NsAiHUoisnto continue the efforts made thus far educating the
consumer on the value of the insurance agent. In addition, we need to enhance the
education process among agents about the valuable resource that NAHU is to
them. We need to effectively communicate the need for all agents to get involved.
Our voices must be heard across America, especially with our political leaders.
The need to embrace and support our grassroots campaign is critical and must be a
priority in 2009 and 2010.
